Rhis is the Waipio valley. Its over a thousand feet deep. It has tons of waterfalls and a huge river running through it. This part of the island is rain forest. The valley is filled with giant fruit trees and crops. Posted by Picasa

Reisa, I wish you were here... Posted by Picasa

I think Kirk and Reisa were doing a little dance in this one... Posted by Picasa

This is where I spent my first month. Kinda cool place actually... Posted by Picasa

These trees are around a hundred feet tall and create a canopy. Awesome forest on the Hilo side Posted by Picasa

My little camera couldn't capture the moment. After dark the lave was flowing A LOT more than this. Posted by Picasa

The eruption was pretty tame during the day but it got a little out of hand after dark. Unfortunately, I didn't have a good enough camera to capture good night shots. The rocks we were sitting on up here got hotter as the eruption intensified Posted by Picasa

Reisa and I went out on the volcano while she was here and watched the lave flow into the ocean. Posted by Picasa

This picture is for Craig cuz he likes sheep. Posted by Picasa

This is Kirk Olson. He's a fellow FedEx courier although he is just part-time and supposedly he "just does it for fun." Kirk is also a singer/song writer. I think his web site is called dogsongs.com Posted by Picasa

We went for a hike on the White road trail and Reisa was telling me the way things are. Posted by Picasa
