This is an average sunset in Waikoloa.

This is a view from the 18th fairway in front of my condo

Rhis is the Waipio valley. Its over a thousand feet deep. It has tons of waterfalls and a huge river running through it. This part of the island is rain forest. The valley is filled with giant fruit trees and crops.

This is where I spent my first month. Kinda cool place actually...

These trees are around a hundred feet tall and create a canopy. Awesome forest on the Hilo side

My little camera couldn't capture the moment. After dark the lave was flowing A LOT more than this.

The eruption was pretty tame during the day but it got a little out of hand after dark. Unfortunately, I didn't have a good enough camera to capture good night shots. The rocks we were sitting on up here got hotter as the eruption intensified

Reisa and I went out on the volcano while she was here and watched the lave flow into the ocean.
