At the falls

The falls were runnin pretty good when we were there. The fog drifting over made it look cool. Was a gerat trip but it went by too fast as usual. Happy holidays everybody

Last day

We had a few hours on our last day so we headed to Snoqualamie falls. There was a lot of fog between Remond and Fall City.

Down at the piers

The piers are another of my favorite places in Seattle. This is still my favorite city

Flying Fish!

Of course we had to watch the guys throw fish for a while. I think the last time I went to flying fish I was picking up boxes of fish in a snow storm. A little nicer this time

The original Starbucks

Reis and I got drinks at the original starbucks. When I walked in I didn't know it was the original one but it didn't take long to figure it out with everybody taking pictures and the line going out the door. Its right down in Pike Place Market

Pioneer Square

One of my routes was in Pioneer Square when I worked in Seattle. The historic buildings are great down there. We didn't make it down there at night for all the clubs but we will next time.

Sunny Seattle

Like I said, when its sunny its hard to beat Washington

EMP

The third day we went to Seattle. Our first stop was the Experience Music Project museum. Was different than the last time I went there but still a fun place to go.

Alex's house

We stayed two nights at Alex's house. Its lookin good with the improvements he has made. This little red thing was the rental car we had... I guess it wasn't too horrible but I'd never buy one

Turning leaves

Everywhere we went the leaves were turning. When its sunny its hard to beat Washington

Reflections on the river

Had to stop and take some pictures of the river on the way back down the mountain. Looked even better on the way up when the sun was out but we were starving and didn't want to stop. Oh well...

Leavenworth

Leavenworth was nice but we didn't have a lot of time up there. The drive took a long time and we left too late after sleepin in. Its a great place around the holidays especially if you can stay til dark to see the lights

One of my favorite places

The second day we drove to Leavenworth but we had to stop at Stevens. Used to go here a lot when I lived in Washington.

Waitin for the ferry

We had a great day in the islands but were pretty tired and ready to head back. Of course, first we had some mainland shopping to do!

Seein the sights

What is a trip without visiting Olga, Orcas Island, WA?

Not used to the chilly weather

It was only in the 50's but it felt pretty cold to us. On top of the lookout it was really chilly

Beautiful view

We got off the ferry at Orcas Island and headed up to the lookout. The day was perfect. In fact, the weather was perfect the whole trip.

Thumbs Up

This was Reisa's first trip to Washington so we went for a ferry ride first
